1989. Doolittle by The Pixies

This has to be one of the best albums EVER. Includes Debaser and Monkey Gone To Heaven. This is getting-really-to-go-out music at it’s best. I saw The Pixies live at Aston Villa Leisure Centre in Birmingham, must have been about the same time this album was out and they were awesome. Happy days. Album peaked at No.8 in UK charts (if Wikipedia can be trusted).

I love this album too. I was turned onto it by a friends older brother who’d heard it while spending a summer working in Boston.

I’m writing a blog about my favourite albums too. What about Ocean Rain by Echo and the Bunnymen?
